WIC
WIC — the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children — provides healthy foods, nutrition advice, breastfeeding support and referrals to health care, at no cost.
Who it's for: People who are pregnant, recently pregnant, or breastfeeding, and infants and children up to age 5, who meet income guidelines. If you already get Medicaid, SNAP or TANF, you usually meet the income rule automatically.

Common questions
Is WIC only for mothers?
No. Infants and children up to age 5 can get WIC in their own right, and pregnant and postpartum people can too.
Can my partner or a grandparent bring my child?
Yes. Fathers, grandparents, foster parents and other caregivers can apply for children in their care.
Where can I use my WIC benefits?
At WIC-approved stores. The clinic will tell you which stores near you take WIC.
How current is this information?
Each listing shows where its information came from and, where we have it, the date a researcher last checked it. Details change, so call before you go. If something looks wrong, use "Tell us" on the listing.
Why do I have to enter a ZIP code?
So we can show the organizations in your county rather than a list of everything everywhere. It also keeps listings from being harvested in bulk.
